If you are interested in requesting a scheduled date to play at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market, please read the information below, then fill out the application. A prior arrangement with Market staff is required in order for musicians or performers to play at any space at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market site.

Applications will be available in early March for Saturdays, Night Markets, Kids Markets (Kid Musicians Only) and the Plant-Based Party!

• Pay Rates and Set Times:

  • $30/set at the Kalamazoo Farmers Market, Kids Markets, and Plant-Based Party (2 hrs).

    • Set time is 9 am-11 am or 10 am-12 pm

    • Currently only booking for OCTOBER, all other dates are FULL.

    • Please select ONLY 3 SATURDAY DATES that you’re available to play when applying.

  • $600/set at the Night Markets

    • Currently NOT booking for the 2024 season

    • Set time is 6 pm- 9 pm

If it’s a good fit, our Market staff will contact you with next steps.

Additional Info for Entertainment:

• Performers should check-in at the Market Office prior to beginning and follow all instructions provided by Market staff regarding parking, set-up, and clean-up.

• Electricity will be available at the stage area, and performers should plan to provide their own equipment, extension cord(s), and any other supplies necessary.

• Performances must not interfere with our local growers’ and makers’ abilities to conduct business.

• Performers are responsible for monitoring sound levels and adjusting the volume to a level that’s comfortable for our market shoppers and vendors. Volume must be immediately lowered when requested by any Market staff.
